Walking distances may be deceiving.

During the rainy season, the unpaved paths can become flooded, slippery, and muddy.

There is no shade around the pond. Summer temperatures can reach over 100°F.

There is no potable water–carry drinking water during the summer months.

Portable restrooms are available at the parking areas.

To avoid ticks and poison oak, stay on the paved/mowed paths.
